Żabka earns its fifth EcoVadis Platinum medal and remains among the top 1% of companies worldwide for ESG maturity
Żabka has been awarded the Platinum medal in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating for the fifth time in the last six years. The company has once again improved its score year-on-year, achieving more than 90 out of 100 possible points. As a result, Żabka has once again ranked among the top 1% of companies worldwide for ESG maturity, reflecting its performance in environmental, social and governance (ESG) management.
“Five Platinum medals in six EcoVadis assessments are, above all, proof of our consistent approach to ESG management. Importantly, we are not only maintaining our strong position in the rating but improving our score year after year. This demonstrates that ESG development at Żabka is a strategic priority that translates into concrete decisions and actions across the business,” says Rafał Rudzki, Sustainability Director at Żabka Group.
“For us, the EcoVadis score is an important external benchmark, as it shows how our approach to ESG management compares with companies around the world. Ranking in the top 1% once again, while also improving our score, confirms the high maturity of our ESG efforts and sets an even higher benchmark for the years ahead” says Katarzyna Średzińska, ESG Reporting Director at Żabka Group.
EcoVadis assesses companies across four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The evaluation is based on an assessment of companies’ policies, actions and results across these four areas.
This year’s result means that Żabka has achieved the highest EcoVadis rating category for the fifth consecutive year and five times overall across six assessments conducted to date.
