Żabka Polska’s Social Engagement Strategy is an integral part of the company’s activities aimed at supporting society. Its objective is to actively support local communities, counteract social exclusion, and build lasting relationships between franchisees and the communities surrounding their stores. The strategy is closely linked to the organization’s core business activities and leverages the potential of its extensive store network as natural points of contact with local communities.
Activities in the area of social engagement are carried out based on the adopted strategy as well as the organization’s internal regulations and policies, including, among others, the “Corporate Philanthropy and Sponsorship Policy” and the principles of cooperation and relationships with external partners set out in the “Donation Procedure” and the “Sponsorship Procedure.” These frameworks ensure transparency and consistency in the initiatives undertaken.
Żabka Polska’s social engagement activities are implemented nationwide. Through collaboration with franchisees, employees, social partners, and non-governmental organizations, we are able to support initiatives with broad reach and a tangible impact on local communities. Cooperation with NGOs is based on partnership, shared values, and transparent principles of engagement.
Among the social partners with whom Żabka has implemented or continues to implement social initiatives are, among others:
- Fundacja Samodzielni Robinsonowie – partner of the “Dobry Staż w Żabce” program, which supports young people from foster care in gaining professional experience and entering the labour market.

Together, we will build wooden footbridges, pave selected sections of the trails, introduce measures to prevent path erosion and off-trail walking, develop tourist education initiatives, and finance maps as well as typhlo-panels designed for visitors with visual impairments.

Cooperation with social organizations enables Żabka to more effectively identify the needs of local communities, design appropriate support programs, and implement initiatives with a tangible and measurable social impact.
At the same time, we remain attentive to the rapidly changing realities of everyday life and are ready to respond quickly in times of crisis, engaging in relief efforts wherever support is most urgently needed.
SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE FOLLOWING THE OUTBREAK OF THE WAR
FLOOD IN 2024
- In cooperation with aid organizations, including the Polski Czerwony Krzyż, we delivered transports of water and food to the most affected towns, including Kłodzko. The assistance also included food products, thousands of bottles of water, sandwiches, and beverages delivered directly to crisis management teams and individuals working to secure areas threatened by flooding.
- The total value of in-kind and financial support provided exceeded PLN 647,000. Żabka franchisees were also involved in the efforts and, as part of the “Franczyzobiorcy dla Franczyzobiorców” initiative, supported a fundraising campaign for those affected.
- At the same time, support mechanisms were launched for franchisees operating stores in the affected regions. As part of a dedicated flood relief subsidy, more than PLN 102,000 was distributed in the form of one-time grants. In addition, costs related to securing stores—such as the purchase of sand and protective bags—were covered, amounting to PLN 34,000.

On average, 300 employees participate annually, contributing more than 1,000 hours of volunteer work each year.
