Gallup recognises consistency. Żabka receives the award for the fourth time
Żabka Group ranks among the top 11% of best workplaces worldwide, according to the Gallup Institute, and has been recognized with the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the fourth consecutive year. The organisation has also maintained an exceptionally high 95% employee participation rate in its engagement survey. Such a level of engagement comes at a time when companies globally are facing a sharp decline in employee productivity - down by 21%, according to Gallup Institute data - further reinforcing Żabka’s stable position among the world’s leading employers.
For Żabka, however, this distinction is not a culmination but rather the outcome of a consistently implemented organisational model in which employee engagement translates directly into business performance and strengthened competitive advantage.
- We consistently strengthen the role of leaders while fostering a culture that engages employees and gives them a genuine sense of purpose and impact on the company’s goals. It is precisely this kind of environment that allows engagement to emerge as a natural outcome of everyday collaboration, and as an important indicator of leadership quality and management effectiveness - said Jolanta Bańczerowska, Chief People Officer at Żabka Group.
When employees clearly understand their responsibilities and objectives, recognise how their daily work contributes to company performance, feel part of a larger purpose, and are encouraged to share ideas and improvements, both employee satisfaction and operational effectiveness increase.
A Gallup Institute meta-analysis, covering over 3.3 million employees across 347 organisations in 53 industries and 90 countries, confirms a direct correlation between high levels of employee engagement and financial performance, talent retention, and organisational resilience.
Highly engaged teams make fewer errors, respond more quickly to change, and demonstrate greater autonomy and accountability. In turn, this contributes to organisational stability, lower turnover, and stronger financial performance. In times of market uncertainty, organisational culture becomes not merely a reputational element, but a strategic asset.
Within the Polish market, relatively few organisations consistently work with employee engagement survey results over the long term. Even fewer reach the level required to be recognised among the global leaders in Gallup’s rankings.
Receiving the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award for the fourth time places Żabka among a select group of organisations that not only measure employee sentiment but also successfully translate insights into tangible actions.
