Anti-smog cobblestones

The cobblestones in front of the store have a photocatalytic surface consisting of titanium dioxide nanoparticles. They reduce the concentration of nitrogen oxides in the air in the area by an average of around 50% compared to asphalt. The effect is particularly noticeable for young children, as the cleanest air rises close to the ground and reaches the height of a child’s pram.
