Żabka awarded Diversity IN Check 2026 certification
The Responsible Business Forum has announced the list of employers most advanced in diversity management. Among this prestigious group is Żabka, which has been recognized with a certificate confirming its long-standing commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
The most advanced employers in diversity management, inclusive culture and safe workplace environments were selected in the 6th edition of the Diversity IN Check survey. The list of 79 companies distinguished in this area was announced on 27 May 2026 during a conference marking the end of Diversity Month 2026. The event was organised by the Responsible Business Forum – the coordinator of the Polish edition of the international Diversity Charter initiative – and took place at the Laboratory of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw. Żabka was recognised for its commitment to diversity and inclusion management in Poland.
“For us, Diversity IN Check is not only an award, but above all a benchmark that helps us manage this area consciously. It shows where we are as an organisation and where we want to further develop our approach to diversity and inclusion in a measurable and business-relevant way.
“What makes me most proud, however, is that this recognition reflects tangible actions and the everyday choices of our people. Diversity cannot be implemented through a single project – it is built through relationships, decisions and the culture we create together,” says Dorota Orzeł, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Żabka Group
Diversity and inclusion at the core of Żabka’s activities
One of the four key pillars of Żabka Group’s Responsibility Strategy is the “Responsible Organisation”. For years, the company has consistently worked to create a work environment where everyone feels respected, safe and treated with due attention. The Group is open to people with diverse identities, experiences, competences and perspectives, building its teams in this spirit.
This commitment is reflected, among other things, in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy adopted in 2024.
Żabka’s efforts in this area have been repeatedly recognised by leading Polish and international institutions. The company was the first in Poland to receive the EQUAL-SALARY certification, awarded by the Swiss EQUAL-SALARY Foundation, confirming its commitment to ensuring equal pay and equal opportunities for all employees, regardless of gender. Żabka has also received the prestigious True Equity Award, granted by a panel of representatives from various organisations, recognising employers that consistently and systematically build inclusive workplaces. Since 2021, Żabka has also been a signatory to the Diversity Charter in Poland, a formal commitment to implementing non-discrimination policies and promoting diversity across the organisation, its employees, and its business and social partners.
